A Method to Precisely Measure the Taper of ASTM Standard Circular Tensile Samples
The size and requirements of the main parts in ASTM standard circular tensile samples were introduced. The taper of the parallel length on sample was measured by domestic universal tool microscope-projection method. The method was simple, accurate and reliable to meet the standard requirements, and the old equipment was used, the accuracy of sample was ensured.
