    Failure Analysis on Mid-anchor Clamp of Copper Alloy for Contact Wire in Electrification Railway Contact Net

    • The cracked mid-anchor clamp for contact wire in electrification railway contact net was analyzed by means of chemical composition analysis, metallographic examination, fracture and energy spectrum analysis. The results showed that the impurity element Bi segregation at grain boundaries of mid-anchor clamp of copper alloy was the major reason for cracking.
