    EFFECT OF COMPONENTS SHAPE ON METAL MAGNETIC MEMORY TESTING

    • Metal magnetic memory technology is a new nondestructive testing method. But it cannot detect the damage and stress concentration in some components with some shapes. To study the shape of component effecting on metal magnetic memory testing,the magnetic field intensity in the shell of pipeline is calculated,which is in geomagnetic field. The results show that magnetic memory testing is suitable for pipeline and pressure vessel.
