    Application of Pole Figure on Crystal Determination and Orientation Analysis

    • Pole figures and microstructure of FeGa and CuAlNi alloys were measured respectively. The results show that FeGa alloy was a multi-crystallite,there were six crystallite grain in the surface layer,and the structure was tetragonal by analyzing the pole plots distribution. CuAlNi alloy was single crystal,the Euler angles calculated from pole figures were φ1=150°,φ=22°,φ2=0°and the pole figure showed that the crystal got the right crystal orientation after orientation adjustment. Results gained from pole figure method and microstructure analysis were identical.
