    Improvements of Machining Tools for Round Tensile Specimens of Steel Products

    • Aimed at solving problems of fussy machining operation, small feeding, high tool consumption and lower machining efficiency, and satisfying the requirement of faster test and lower testing cost of the steel plant, the original machining tools were improved. The original 75 ° side knife was replaced by 60 ° sharp knife, the original 90 ° right-side knife was canceled, the original wide-blade repairing knife was reformed to cutting off knife and the original circular knife was improved by adding wiper. The applied practice show that the improved machining tools were more convenient to use, and it could not only improve the quality of specimens and machining efficiency, but also lower the machining consumption and testing cost.
