Abstract
The effect of aging on the properties of Cu-3.2Ni-0.75Si-0.3Zn alloys of different state was studied. It was founded that high density of dislocations brought by cold-rolling before aging can accelerate the precipitation in early aging and prevent the precipitation in late aging. The normal experiment of aging and cold-rolling techniques of hot-rolled and water-cooled and 60% cold-rolled alloy was conducted. Results show that, the primary and secondary sequence affecting electric conductivity and micro-hardness is aging temperature>aging time>cold-rolling degree before aging, and aging temperature>cold-rolling degree before aging>aging time, respectively. It was also found that, the hot-rolled and water-cooled and 60% cold-rolled alloy can attain the equivalent properties of the solution + aging alloy by direct proper aging and cold-rolling,as a result, solution techniques can be omitted during production.
