  • The countersunk head rivets was fractured when riveting. Metallography examination,hardness measurement,chemical composition analysis and SEM techniques were used to analyze the reason. It was shown that countersunk head rivet fracturing related with unreasonable structure design and assemble mode. Brittleness structure accelerated fracture.
