Analysis on Leakage Reason of Ammonia Tank

Abstract

The leakage reason of ammonia tank was analyzed by means of macroscopic examination, chemical composition analysis, metallographic examination and so on. The results showed that the joint action of welding stress and ammonia was the main factor which induced the cracking of ammonia tank.
