    Comparison between Domestic and Overseas Standards for Metallic Thermo-mechanical Fatigue Testing Method

    • Three standards for metallic material thermo-mechanical fatigue testing method including GJB 6213-2008, ASTM E2368-2010 and ISO CD 12111-2002 were compared, and a more detail discussion which focused on the sample requirements, test equipment parameters, temperature control, test results evaluation methods and so on were carried out. According to the comparison results, the above standard differences and similarities were summarized, and some suggestions on the improvement of standard formulation were put forward. Thus, it is proposed to add some requirements, such as the temperature gradient, induction coils configuration, strain rate, thermal strain compensation information and so on when making the national standard for metallic material thermo-mechanical fatigue testing method.
