    A Method to Take Pictures for Measuring Shear Area of DWTT Specimen Fracture

    • According to fracture characteristics of DWTT specimens, a common digital camera with 60 mm macro lens was chosen to take pictures of specimen fracture under a suitable illumination condition. And a method was found to take high-quality pictures with high definition and little three-dimensional deformation, by analyzing vertical depth and three-dimensional deformation of these pictures properly. This method could be used to quantitatively measure the percent shear area of DWTT specimen fracture accurately.
