    Effect of Two Kinds of Welding Technology on Impact Toughness of Welded Joints

    • According to the impact energy of butt weld metal was lower than that of deposited metal in deposited welding joint, the mechanical properties and microstructure of the materials were discussed. The results showed that the content of troostite in butt weld metal was higher than that in deposited metal, and the microstructure of butt weld metal was coarse, led to the cracks easily formed in butt weld metal. Thus made the impact energy of butt weld metal was lower, and the ductile-brittle transition temperature was higher than that of deposited metal at the same temperature.
