    • The cracking reason analysis on the hot-rolled 36U profile support steel used in mine were carried out by means of the analysis for chemical composition, microstructure and inclusion. The results showed that the main cracking reason was some inclusions in the steel. And both banded structure and bainite caused cracking. The preventive methods were also proposed.
