    Failure Cause Analysis of Serpentine Pipe in Organic Heat Transfer Material Heater

    • By means of metallographic examination, mechanical property testing, chemical examination of heat transfer oil and other methods, the fire cause of an organic heat transfer material heater was analyzed. The results showed that the cause of the accident was carbonization and coking happened in the heat transfer oil with too low labeling, which led to overheating and creep cracks in the serpentine pipe, and tube explosion happened at last.
