    Oil Grooves Processing Cracks Analysis of Powder Metallurgy Top Covers

    • More than one powder metallurgy top covers used for air conditioner compressor cracked when processing oil grooves. It was found that the fast sintering mesh-belt velocity and low density of the top covers were the main reason for the oil grooves processing cracks, by analyzing the chemical compositions and microstructure and comparing test of part machining, physical and mechanical properties. The analyzing results were demonstrated and effective improvement suggestion was put forward at last.
