The fracture reason of N80 tubing was analyzed by means of chemical composition analysis, mechanical property testing, stress analysis, macro and micro examination. The results showed that the fatigue damage occurred in the weak positions of tubing in the process of reciprocating motion of oil pumping rod, then the load of tubing fatigue part exceeded the carrying capacity, at last the tubing fractured under the external tensile stress.
