Influence of Rate Control Modes on Tensile Properties of GH4169 Superalloy

    • The influence of rate control modes during extensometer control with true strain of 0.8%-1.6% on the room temperature (23±5) ℃and elevated temperature (650±3) ℃ mechanical properties of GH4169 superalloy, were studied by analyzing the strain hardening index, tensile test data and micro grain morphology. The results show that at room temperature, the strength index obtained by strain control mode was higher than that obtained by displacement control mode, as well as the plastic index obtained by strain control mode was lower than that obtained by displacement control mode. At the elevated temperature, the difference between the strength index and the plastic index obtained by strain control mode and displacement control mode could be ignored.
