    Reasons Analysis on Cracking of R60702 Zirconium Plate of a Acetic Anhydride Reaction Kettle

    • The cracking reasons of R60702 zirconium plate of a acetic anhydride reaction kettle were analyzed by means of chemical compositions analysis, tensile testing, macroscopic and microscopic examination and energy spectrum analysis. The results show that the cracking of the zirconium plate was stress corrosion cracking, and differential temperature stress reduced by the frequent start and stop and iodide medium remained in the device were main reasons for the stress corrosion cracking. Finally improving suggestions were put forward.
