Abstract
The cylindrical sample with the diameter of 8 mm and the height of 12 mm was selected as the analytical object, and the cylindrical compression process was numerically simulated by using 3D elasto-plastic finite element method based on the software DEFORM.The influence of different strain tested methods (the radial direction and the high direction) and different hammer compressed methods (the single direction and the double direction) on the difference between the tested and the pre-set true stress-strain curves was analyzed. It was shown that the difference between the tested and the pre-set true stress-strain curves existed in such experiment methods. But the tested stress-strain curves could better reflect the variation regularity of the pre-set true ones by using the single hammer compression and the radial directional strain testing methods.
