    RESEARCH OF METALLOGRAPHIC EXAMINATION TECHNOLOGY ON 2219 ALUMINUM ALLOY

    • The research about 2219 aluminum alloy′s metallographic examination was carried out and the method was studied to observe the microstructure of grains of the tested alloy. The best processing parameters is: (a) electro polishing: electrolyte,20% HClO4 (10 mL) + ethanol (90 mL),voltage 20 V,time 40 s;(b) corrosion cladding: electrolyte,HPO3 (100 mL) + H2SO4 (16 mL),voltage 25 V,ampere density 1.4~1.0 A/cm2,time 90~180 s.
