    RESEARCH OF HIGH STRENGTH AND ANTI-ATTRITION BRASS

    • The microstructures and mechanical performance of LTH60 alloy have been stadied by using optical microscopy, tensile testing machine and EDS instrument. The results indicated that this alloy′s microstructures contain four phases: α,β, Mn5Si3 and Pb. LTH60 can be strengthening by Solution treatment and ageing, strain strengthening, etc. After strengthening, tensile strength is 480~650N/mm2, hardness is 150~200HB.
