    Guttering Failure Analysis of Inconel 751 Alloy Exhaust Valve Cone

    • Guttering failure reason of Inconel 751 exhaust valve cone was analyzed by means of macro examination,chemical composition analysis,microstructure examination and phase composition analysis. The results indicate that the material and the manufacture technique of the exhaust valve met with the technical requirement. The exhaust valve cone guttered mainly due to the excessive S content in the fuel oil.
