    Reason Analysis of Boiler Tube Burst Accident in Power Station

    • The reasons of boiler tube burst accident happened in one power station were analyzed by means of macro structure inspection,spectrum analysis,metallograph examination,hardness measuring,tensile strength testing in room temperature etc. The results showed that the boiler water wall tubes were overheated in short time,which led to the strength of tube reduced under high pressure environment,at last the boiler tube bursted.
