  • The fracture analysis,macro check,metallographic examination,mechanical property and chemical composition analyses are carvied out in order to tyre crack. There were many hot cracks on the wheel tyre surface in macro examination. Metallographic examination shows that microstructure of wheel tyre surface was martensite. Crack initiation sites lies in hot crack of the wheel tyre surface,which belongs to typical fatigue crack. So it can be concluded that hot cracks in wheel tyre led to the crack which is relate to its use and roadway.
