    Uncertainty Evaluation on Measurement of Impact Strength of Cantilever Beam of Polypropylene

    • Using polypropylene as test material, according to ASTM D 256:2010, the impact strength at 23 ℃ was measured by cantilever beam impact tester, and the uncertainty components in test process were analyzed and evaluated. The results showed that the expanded uncertainty of cantilever beam impact strength of polypropylene was 7.6 J/m, k=2, confidence probability p≈95%.
