    Microstructure and Properties of Simulated Welding HAZ of 2507 Duplex Stainless Steel

    • The effects of the maximum heating temperature and energy input on the microstructure and impact toughness of thermal simulated HAZ of 2507 duplex stainless steel were investigated using thermal simulator and impact testing. The results show the ferrite content of the thermal simulated HAZ increased and the impact toughness decreased as the maximum heating temperature increasing at fixing energy input. With the increase of energy input at fixing maximum heating temperature, the ferrite content of the thermal simulated HAZ decreased and the impact toughness increased.
