Effect of Zero Impact Energy on Strength and Toughness of ZG06Cr13Ni4Mo Stainless Steel

    • After different heat treatment process of ZG06Cr13Ni4Mo stainless steel, the tensile strength, Charpy (V-notch) zero impact absorbing energy and ductile transition temperature were detected, and the correlation of zero impact absorbing energy with other mechanical performance index was analyzed. The results showed that it did not mean that the zero impact absorbing energy was the higher the better. When the zero impact absorbing energy was higher than 149.1 J, with high impact energy absorption, the strength and hardness would reduce, even did not meet the requirements of the material indicators, only the zero impact absorbing energy was controled in appropriate range, the material had good strength and toughness.
