ANALYSIS OF SURFACE DEFECTS OF COLD-ROLLED AND GALVANIZED STRIP
The cause of linear surface defects on cold-rolled and galvanized steel sheet were analyzed. The results showed that short linear defects and rokes were caused by non-metal inclusions,which probably were related to mold powder and nozzle clog.Long linear defects were caused by longitudinal crack of continuously cast slab.The reasons of such defects were related to the quality of liquid steel and continuously cast slab.
