ANALYSIS OF THE RUPTURED CORE AXES OF THE ROLL MILL FOR ROLLING BIG RING
The core axes of roll mill had been ruptured continuely. It was investigated by means of fracture analysis,microstructure examination,SEM energy spectrum analysis and mechanical properties testing. The result showed that the defects of the microstructure in the core axes and the poor heatproof of the material were the main reasons for the core axes′s earlier ruptured.
