EFFECT OF YSZ FILM ON HIGH-TEMPERATURE OXIDATION PERFORMANCE OF H13 STEEL
A uniform and dense 8% YSZ film was formed on the surface of H13 steel by electro-deposition and sintering. The effects on the oxidation of the steel at 700 ℃ in air was studied. The results showed that 8% YSZ film improved obviously the oxidation resistance of the steel. The related mechanism was also discussed.
