    Fault Diagnosis and Repair of WAW-500 Electrohydraulic Service Tester

    • Malfunction of a WAW-500 computer controlled electrohydraulic service tester was briefly introduced, and the reason for the load value of the tester presented nonlinear deviation was analyzed. Then according to the analysis results the rigid framed structure of the tester was repaired and position of the working piston cylinder was modified to reduce the friction between piston cylinders and make the tester work normally. Because friction between the piston cylinders of the testers could cause serious nonlinear deviation of load measurement, the tensile testing machine should be inspected regularly to avoid similar errors happen.
