Hysteretic performance of beam-column joints of corrugated steel web energy-dissipation beam section

    • The finite element model of BCJ-RCS was established by using the verified finite element numerical method, and the low-cycle reciprocating loading analysis was carried out to study its hysteretic performance and stress-strain development law. The effects of flange width-to-thickness ratio, web height-to-thickness ratio, web waveform ratio and web half-wave number on BCJ-RCS hysteresis curve, skeleton curve and equivalent damping coefficient were further explored. The results show that the hysteretic curve of the new beam-column joint was full and had good energy dissipation capacity. In the process of reciprocating loading, the plastic strain was concentrated in the energy-consuming beam section, and the main components such as beams and columns were not yielded, and the design goal of replaceability after earthquake was successfully achieved. The width-to-thickness ratio of the flange and the height-to-thickness ratio of the web had a significant effect on the seismic performance of BCJ-RCS, while the web waveform ratio and the half-wave number of the web had little effect.
