    Construction of an intelligent laboratory for testing the mechanical properties of steel plates

    • With the development of automation and intelligent technology, automation, intelligent sample preparation and detection technology were widely applied in the field of the steel plate mechanical performance testing. The improvement of sample preparation equipment automation helped to ensure the independence and reliability of experimental data, reduce human intervention, and minimize experimental result errors caused by human factors. An intelligent laboratory composed of automatic laser cutting equipment, CNC machining center, impact machining center and centralized control system was established. The automatic identification of steel samples were realized, and the processing of corresponding samples could be automatically completed according to the type of samples. Using AGV to carry and sort, the samples were transported to the automatic testing machine, and the automatic feeding, testing and waste sample recycling were completed in turn. Finally, the unmanned and intelligent goal of the whole process of sample preparation and testing of mechanical properties samples was achieved.
