Equivalent test method for contact heat exchange coefficient of 5182 aluminum alloy sheet during hot rolling process

    • Based on the roughness, contact pressure and contact temperature of the contact surface between the roll and the aluminum alloy during the hot rolling process of 5182 aluminum alloy, a one-dimensional contact heat exchange coefficient test model was established. The contact heat exchange coefficient was used as the heat exchange boundary condition of the hot rolling process. The hot rolling finite element model of 5182 aluminum alloy sheet was established. The surface temperature field curve of the finite element model was extracted and compared with the temperature test results of the industrial production process. The heat exchange coefficient test under different contact compressive stress and contact interface temperature was realized. The relationship between contact heat exchange coefficient and contact compressive stress and interface temperature was studied. The results show that the contact heat transfer coefficient increased with the increase of temperature and contact compressive stress. The finite element prediction results were consistent with the test results.
