Abstract Research was conducted on the control method of the cutting platform of the fully automatic laser cutting machine, and the main reasons affecting the repeated positioning accuracy of the cutting platform were identified. At the same time, a position feedback control method for the servo motor of the cutting platform was designed, used the position pulse feedback of servo motor encoder and the pulse signal feedback of origin sensor, and calculated the pulse deviation using the deviation count of the servo controller. This method could automatically eliminate the accumulated errors generated during the operation of the cutting platform, and reduced the repeated positioning accuracy of the cutting platform.
