    Defect microstructure of wire rod and H-beam products

    • Select unqualified samples from wire and rod HRB400E steel, 45 steel, and Q355B steel, and analyzed the causes of defect structures such as bainite, network ferrite, Widmannstatten structure and banded structure. The results show that the method of adjusting process parameters such as steel heating temperature, finishing rolling temperature, and post rolling cooling rate could avoid the formation of defective structures. The research results could provide support for improving the qualification rate of steel products.
