X-ray detection and analysis technology was widely used in the field of cultural relic protection and restoration of different materials such as ceramics, paper, metal, and stone. The application examples of X-ray fluorescence analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis, X-ray flaw detection analysis and other technologies in cultural relic protection and restoration research were introduced.
