Abstract
Two methods for displaying the microstructure of high manganese steel with different manganese contents were introduced. Using oxalic acid+nitric acid+sodium metabisulfite+anhydrous ethanol solution as the corrosion solution, wear-resistant high manganese steel with a manganese content of 11% to 14% was corroded at room temperature, resulting in clear, complete and brightly colored microstructure morphology. The composite method of nitric acid+anhydrous ethanol solution and hydrochloric acid+anhydrous ethanol solution was used to corrode high manganese steel in ultra-low temperature environments with a mass fraction of manganese elements ranging from 22% to 28%, and clear microstructure morphology could be obtained.
