    Analysis method of foreign matter source on basin insulator surface of gas insulated switchgear equipment

    • The metal foreign matter on the surface of the basin insulator in the gas insulated switchgear would cause discharge accidents. The chemical composition of the foreign body was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy and energy spectrum analysis, and the aluminum wire discharge test was carried out to determine the source of the foreign body. The results show that when the content of Al element on the surface of the basin insulator was greater than that of the basin insulator body, it could be determined that the foreign matter was caused by the adsorption of foreign aluminum material on the surface of the basin insulator and the discharge.
