Abstract
The digital image correlation method was used to test the deformation of the vehicle door trim panel during the low temperature explosion test of the airbag. The strain curves of the material at different strain rates were drawn. The correlation between the actual images and the simulation analysis results of displacement and strain of the parts in the airbag point explosion were established, and the data corresponding to the simulation grid nodes were output. The results show that the non-contact digital image correlation method could not only obtain the strain curves of vehicle door trim panel materials at different strain rates, but also obtain the three-dimensional deformation cloud map and data generated by high-speed collision when the airbag exploded. According to the requirements of the simulation grid, the cloud map was divided, and the time and coordinates of the point explosion were aligned. The output cloud map data could be compared point by point with the value of the simulation analysis results, which could clearly understand the error between the simulation analysis results and the actual test results, and provided data support for further optimization of the simulation model.
