Abstract
The microstructure, mechanical properties, and the effect of different temperatures on the elastic modulus of 2319 aluminum alloy cold metal transition welding arc additive manufactured samples in the deposited and heat treated states were studied. The results show that the tensile strength of the deposited longitudinal specimen was 9. 3% lower than that of the transverse specimen, and there was anisotropy in the tensile strength of the longitudinal specimen. After heat treatment, the tensile strength of the sample increased by about 35%, and the tensile strength of the longitudinal sample still exhibited anisotropy. After heat treatment, the elastic modulus of the longitudinal and transverse specimens were basically the same. As the test temperature increases, the elastic modulus both showed a downward trend.
