Abstract
Based on differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), the thermal conductivity property of quartz fiber/polyimide composites was studied. The thermal conductivity of the sample were calculated by the difference of the heat flow signals when the molten material indium was placed on the sample and not placed on the sample, and the test conditions were optimized, and satisfactory results were obtained. The results show that applying thermal conductive silicone oil on the contact surface of the sample could effectively reduce the air thermal resistance and increase the thermal conductivity. The test results obtained by using the sample for DSC testing were accurate, reliable and repeatable.
