Abstract
The effects of PP, HIPS, ABS in different placement methods and different loads on the thermal deformation temperature test results were analyzed. The results show that for the amorphous materials ABS and HIPS, under the same standard deflection and load, the test results of side placement were basically consistent with those of flat placement. In the same placement, the same standard deflection, using different loads for testing, the thermal deformation temperature of method B was about 10℃ higher than method A, the thermal deformation temperature of method A was about 10℃ higher than method C. For some crystalline materials, in the same test method, the thermal deformation temperature of PP material with glass fiber was obviously increased. In the same placement method and the same standard deflection, the greater the load, the smaller the result obtained. The same sample was placed flat, and the load was 1. 80 MPa, under different standard deflections, the thermal deformation temperature test results were in good agreement.
