Reasons for fracture of 7A85 aluminum alloy bearing component

    • A bearing component of A7A85 aluminum alloy broke after a period of use. Macroscopic observation, chemical composition analysis, mechanical property test, metallographic inspection and other methods were used to analyze the fracture reasons of the component. The results show that the cracking position of the bearing component was at the pin hole, the fracture mode was stress corrosion, and the main reason for the fracture was the combined action of environment and stress.
