    Pulse micro-plasma arc welding process for TA1 wire mesh

    • The pulse micro-plasma arc welding test was carried out for TA1 wire mesh, and the macroscopic morphology, microstructure and mechanical properties of the welded joint were studied, the influence of welding parameters on the welding quality of TA1 wire mesh was analyzed. The results show that the pulse micro-plasma arc welding could achieve better connection effect. With the increase of heat input, the macro morphology of welded joints changed from ellipsoid to spherical. The microstructure of base metal zone of the welded joint was equiaxed α phase, the weld zone was mainly acicular α phase and lamellar α phase, the heat affected zone was lamellar α phase, and the microhardness of the weld zone was the highest. The tensile strength of the welded joint reached 90% of the base metal, and the tensile fracture was mainly ductile fracture.
