Design of locking performance testing fixture for blind rivet self-locking nut

  • The data of the new blind rivet self-locking nut fluctuated greatly in the locking performance test. The installation form, structure and stress in the test process of blind rivet self-locking nut were analyzed, the main problems were found that the unreasonable design of the test fixture, the thread damage of the fastener in the test process and the large coaxiality deviation. Therefore, a non-installation test fixture was designed, which not only met the standard requirements, but also improved the accuracy of the nut locking performance test, which could provide ideas for the design of other standard test fixtures.
