Lastest Progress of Transverse Tensile Test Standards for Metallic Material Welds at Home and Abroad and Amendents for GB/T 2651-2008

    • Tensile test is one of the most effective test methods to evaluate the mechanical properties of metallic material welds, which is widely used in welding design and material selection. At present, many countries have issued standards for transverse tensile testing of metallic material welds. The latest progress of relevant standards at home and abroad was introduced. By comparison, the standard of transverse tensile test for metallic material welds in China has a long standard age and is out of date, and part of the contents are not accurate enough, so the standard needs to be updated urgently. At last, some suggestions on the modification for table notes, diagrams and test temperature are put forward.
