Rate Control of Tensile Test and Verification Test Scheme in Crosshead Separation Mode

  • By demonstrating the tensile test in crosshead separation control mode, the difference between nominal rate and strain rate on the specimen was verified, and the relationship and characteristics between them were analyzed. The results show that the laboratory can obtain a satisfactory strain rate on the specimen by changing the nominal rate, and establish a verification test scheme. The verification test scheme can be solidified as working document for daily test, so as to greatly improve the control accuracy of strain rate in crosshead separation mode.
