Abstract
In order to obtain the shear force of shear pin of giant hydro-generator required by design and obtain batch shear pin with controlled shear force fluctuation. The feasibility of full-scale shear pin shear test was discussed, the material performance difference between normal shear pin and abnormal shear pin in shear test was analyzed, and the control method of shear force quality stability of shear pin was explored by tensile test, impact test, hardness test and shear test of shear pin. The results show that the fluctuation of shear strength of shear pin could be indirectly controlled by controlling the Brinell hardness fluctuation of shear pin blank. The quality and shear force fluctuation of batch shear pin could be controlled by the six step method summarized by experiment.
