A Data Fitting Method for Series Impact Tests

    • Due to the lack of series impact tests data required in the GB/T 229—2007, the series impact test results will appear unreasonable fitting phenomenon. Therefore, a data fitting method for series of impact tests considering weight was proposed. In this method, the Logistics function was used as the basic function, and different weight coefficients were used to fit the ductile brittle transition zone and the upper and lower platform regions according to the distribution characteristics of impact test data. The series impact results of 2. 25Cr1Mo0. 25V steel forgings were fitted by this method. The results show that this method could significantly improve the fitting effect. The fitting results were better than those without weight especially for the upper and lower platform regions of materials. The fitting parameters obtained by this method accord with the actual physical meaning.
