    Revision Suggestions on the Standard of Upset Test Method for Metallic Materials

    • Based on the development status of the control technology of modern upset test machine, the imperfections in the current standard of upset test method was analyzed. Some suggestions were put forward to modify or supplement the standard. It is suggested that YB/T 5293—2014 should be restored to the national standard, the marking method of sample mark shold be optimized, and the requirement of upset test speed should be increased. It is hoped that the operability of upset test standard can be improved.
